Nothing beats the sound of an emptying spray-can or the visually bold colours and mad skills that head-butts your face as you meander through the streets to nowhere. Sydney is looking pretty darn dapper due to the rise in talented young blood hitting the pavement or filling up gallery spaces: there’s a spray-geek lurking around every other back alley you probably won’t go to.
Meet The Dirt: Often painting on a large scale his work revolves around a more realistic style with thought provoking concepts. Hismurals can be seen throughout Sydney and was recently involved in the City of Sydney’s 75 meter long mural along Foley street in Darlinghurst.”
Meet Bafcat: His work is a psychotic mix of pop cultural references/hallucinations, thin black lines, vibrant colour, and adrenalin fuelled late nights. If you haven’t seen his work then you must be dead.
Although both artists have been classically trained they approach their genre with varied and distinctive style.
