Free love… on wheels. It was the summer of ’69, there were flowers in your hair, the tunes were well groovy and nobody cared whose skates they were sharing. It was all about the ride, man. Summer of 69 Roller Disco returns to the UNSW dance floor on Saturday 22 February for night of pure peace, love and rollerskating. Find your true self under the dazzling disco ball, stick it to the man and enter the limbo and hulahoop competitions, travel back to Woodstock on the karaoke stage, or just go with the flow man. Whatever dude, it's cool. Most importantly, just be yourself, oh and avoid the red licorice. Get ready to roll in the name of love!
Too ‘unco’ to strap on a pair of skates? Never fear, this night is not only exclusive for our 8 wheel friends. You can dance alongside, with drink in hand, while sharing the love with your roller skating friends, at this unique Saturday night disco.
