Wednesday 4th November ; #PICCOLOTALES (Season 2) FUNDRAISER - A Cabaret Conspiracy

  • 107 Projects 107 Redfern Street Redfern, NSW, 2016 Australia (map)

To mark Vittorio’s 81st birthday, we invite you to step back in time to Sydney 1978 and join us for a tribute to the infamous Cabaret Conspiracy - and help raise funds for the next season of “Piccolo Tales” during the 2016 Sydney Mardi Gras.

“Welcome to Cabaret Conspiracy! Thank you for coming and I hope you fuckers get your 50 cents worth. The stars for tonight will be: chanteuse magnifique ANITA DOUCHE and MARGUERITE MONTES, illusionists extraordinaire AARON MANHATTAN, magician DALE TRUEMAN, violinist PETER URQUHART and divas to die for CHRISTA HUGHES and the legendary BOOM BOOM - plus many more suprises. To kick the night off how about we set the cabaret bar low with a shit song from me - VITTORIO BIANCHI? You want to hear shit singing? Real shit singing? Please help me out in the chorus – I always forget the fucking words.”

Cabaret Conspiracy was started by Johnny Allen and Fifi L'Amour in 1978 to promote the art of cabaret. Its home was Garibaldi's Coffee Shop in Darlinghurst. Come to 107 Projects were we relive the magic of those crazy days with a line up of cabaret from the past, present and future.

“For the debris of Sydney society - the punks, the spunks, the hippies and the has-beens, the drag-queens, surfies, trendies and transvestites… for all the people who are too cool to watch Countdown; this is your chance.” Sydney Morning Herald April 15, 1979.

Tickets are $20 and available at:

Proceeds from the night will support the costs associated with next season of “Piccolo Tales” for the 2016 Sydney Mardi Gras.
