Pre-Amps/Mixers

Most old turntables only had a phono output, which means you needed a special phono (as opposed to line, tape, aux, dvd, cd) input on your amplifier. A phono signal is much weaker than a line signal and so you need to boost it, which means that most amps with a phono input have a little pre-amp attached to that channel to boost the signal. You can do this with the PP400 below

All the Audio-Technica turntables we sell have pre-amps in them, so you don't need to boost the signal with a pre-amp but you might want to control volume and plug some other sound sources into the same speakers. You can do this with the XENYX range below. Only the 302 has RCA inputs but we have plugs to convert your turntable leads.
